Sandler the Dog needs a home
Sandler is a great dog who has not had a lot of luck with owners in his life; and we are the third shelter he has called home, so he really needs someone who wants to spend time with him. It is estimated that he was born in September 2010 and he weighs 55 lbs.
He is a jumper and can’t be left alone in a yard (he’ll play with you, though, if you’ll stay with him), but he’d be perfect for someone who wants a walking or running mate.
He got along with other dogs when he first entered shelter life, so he may once again – and he’d do best in an adult only household. When it comes to adults, he loves them though. He has become a favorite of all the volunteers at the shelter. If there is more than one volunteer helping out during a shift, there is almost a fight about who will get to take Sandler out. That is how great he is!
